The best holiday ever!

I have travelled to many places, with my family, friends and even my boyfriend. I have gone to India, because my family lives there, I have gone to Brazil for a school trip, which was amazing, and I have backpached in Chile to different beaches with my boyfriend which was a totally new experience for me. 

In this post I'll talk about my holiday backpacking with my boyfriend, which it was last year in our winter vacations. We went for two weeks to La Serena and other beaches near that city, like Tongoy, Guanaqueros, and Elqui Valley. I feel that this was a great experience for me because I have never camped before, or travelled alone just with my boyfriend, so it was kind of a new experience for both of us, and a really nice one because we learned a lot of one and other. 

We did not do a lot of activities, it was just more relaxing at the beaches and getting tanned. We also stayed up till late at night playing card games, talking about different things and getting to know each other more and more, the only difficult part was when we tried lighting a fire at night to get warm because it was very cold at nights. 

Another activity that we did which was on our last days over there, it was at Elqui Valley which was a life and death ecperience. We were camping in that valley, and one day we decided to go hiking, we did not think it was going to be dangerous so we started one early morning. It was beautiful, we walked till we reached a waterfall, we stayed there for a while till we cooked and ate something, and then we started walking back to our camping. We were walking till we realized that it was not the same path that we took at first, so we got lost and it was starting to get dark, we were starting to get scared and we had to walk carefully otherwise we could fall to the river which was much more lower than us. Fortunately we found someone who was camping near us and asked her the way back, finally we reached safely but it was a very dangerous experience.

It was a life lesson.
